Bacon Vodka

I just put this alcoholic delight into the freezer. It should be ready for tasting either this evening or tomorrow. Anyone interested in joining me for a sampling?

Sorry about that! It was actually pretty good overall, especially considering that it was a first batch. The general consensus was that I had overcooked the bacon just enough to give the vodka a little bit of a charcoal finish. It's still easily drinkable (Alex, Mike McG and Ryan/Verivox had 2-3 shot glasses apiece). We all agreed that it's worth doing, but to cook the bacon a little less next time, to basically make sure that it was soft cooked.
